Saint-Tropez is located on the French Riviera in the southeast of France. The city has long been popular with artists, attracted the international jet set in the 1960s and is still known for its beaches and nightlife. The cobblestones in the streets of the La Ponche district are reminiscent of its past as a fishing village, although there are more yachts in the Vieux Port today than fishing boats.
